Nintendo Download list: 10th October 2013 (Europe)

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are the undisputed highlights of this week’s Nintendo Download list, ending the ten month wait since the Nintendo 3DS exclusives were announced back in January.

NES classics Golf and Tennis join Wii U’s Virtual Console service, whilst a slew of special offers will further entice you toward purchase.

Tennis was the first game to bring the sport to the NES, and includes singles or doubles matches against five different levels of enemies. While the controls are simple, it takes time to master the techniques and defeat the toughest opponents. Practise your volleys and smashes if you want to succeed! Also you may recognise a familiar moustachioed mascot making a guest appearance in the umpire’s chair…

This is the US version of the game.
