Nintendo Anime Channel launching on February 13th

In a surprise Nintendo Direct announcement, the company shared plans to launch the Nintendo Anime Channel for Nintendo 3DS.

This free application, which replaces the long retired Nintendo Video, is a video-on-demand service that will be available through the Nintendo eShop.

It will allow viewers to stream episodes from popular anime series such as Pokémon, Kirby, and Inazuma Eleven, with the promise that it will be regularly updated with new content.
