It has been only a week since version 10.4.0-29, but another minor Nintendo 3DS system update has become available.
Once again being pushed live as Nintendo Network maintenance concludes, this upgrades the handheld innards to firmware version 10.5.0-30. Those expecting surprises will once again be disappointed, with Nintendo’s update notes repeating references to the usual improvements to “overall system stability” and adjustments that will “enhance the user experience.”
As always, this update is mandatory in order to access online services across New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo 2DS systems. Whether that be brawling with friends in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS or accessing the Nintendo eShop, make sure that you update beforehand!
