Nintendo 3DS System Update 10.3.0-28 Now Available

The Nintendo 3DS has received another system update, seeing the handheld upgraded to the meaningless numerical value in Version 10.3.0-28.

As per usual this is a mandatory update to New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo 2DS systems, and sees that “further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

Notorious developer turned hacker Smealum has already warned against updating, already noting that those that have hacked their system to implement homebrew will see that access to the Nintendo eShop has been blocked on older versions.

He continues to work hard toward circumventing Nintendo’s system update every time, and that only looks set to continue…
