Japanese company Dai Nippon Printing have revealed a partnership with Nintendo to deliver a new eReader service to Nintendo 3DS.
Freely available later this year on Nintendo 3DS, the ‘Honto’ application will allow users to navigate a vibrant shop where they can purchase individual ebooks for between 700 to 2000 yen.
Having noticed that the handhelds install base consists of many grade-school children, Dai Nippon Printing have deemed it to be the perfect place for them to provide simple-to-read ebooks.
There are likely no plans for a western release, although surely someone can cook up a localised application for western bookworms?
