The Nintendo 3DS has passed one million sales in Japan, according to figures released by Enterbrain, although took longer to do so than its Nintendo DS predecessors.
It took thirteeen weeks for the Nintendo 3DS to hit the milestone within Japan, whereas the Nintendo DS achieved this within four weeks, the Nintendo DS Lite and DSi took eight weeks, and the Nintendo DSi XL did so after twenty-five weeks.
