Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is shortly upon us, and Activision have treated us to a new gameplay trailer to get us in a mechanised mood.
The third-person action adventure will place players in control of more than 40 playable Autobots and Decepticons, who will battle to secure the Dark Spark – an ancient relic that is believed to be as powerful as the Matrix of Leadership.
Wave-based multiplayer survival mode Escalation will return, complete with new, upgradeable defence systems, an expanded character roster, and adversaries from Transformers lore. Players will also level across single-player and multiplayer through a unified system, gained experience unlocking weapons, special abilities and consumable bonuses.
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark releases for Wii U and 3DS across Europe on June 27th.
