Need for Speed movie begins filming

Need for Speed speeds to Georgia as DreamWorks Studios’ movie adaptation begins filming at the North American state Polygon reports.

Macon, more precisely, is due to be the movie’s backdrop according to a local news report from 13WMAZ, with Fountain Car Wash providing a central location.

“Need for Speed is a great moment for Macon, Fountain Car Wash and for all of the community,” reporter Kenny Burgamy shared.

It was last year that DreamWorks acquired the rights to make the movie, promising that they will deliver “a fast-paced, high-octane film rooted in the tradition of the great car culture films of the 70s while being extremely faithful to the spirit of the video game franchise.”
