The Kid Icarus Uprising animated shorts have become available through the My Nintendo rewards program in Japan.

These had seen three of Japan’s renowned anime studios produce their own short 3D animations set in the world of Kid Icarus, and were first made available on the Nintendo Video service which came to an end in March 2014.

Production I.G produced Thanatos Rising which saw Pit battle against Medusa’s minions, while Shaft Inc. created Palutena’s Revolting Dinner, which centres around the goddess Palutena and her attempts to deal with a great catastrophe in her Skyworld home.

Medusa’s Revenge was the animated short that Studio 4°C produced, which had the Goddess of the Underworld as its main character. It tells the tale of Medusa and Palutena’s rivalry, which stretches from far into Pit’s past right up to the present day.

These are now available to My Nintendo members in Japan for 80 Platinum Points each.
