Monster Hunter Movie Adaptation Charges In

Capcom has announced that a Monster Hunter movie is in production, adding that it isn’t related to Nintendo 3DS exclusive Monster Hunter Stories.

The news was shared by Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto at Tokyo Game Show 2016, after he took to the stage for the publisher’s Monster Hunter Stories event.

He shared: “While it isn’t related to Stories, there is a Hollywood movie adaptation of the main series in progress.”

There was no more information beyond that, whether related to the production companies involved, an expected release date, or when we will hear more.

Monster Hunter Stories will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on October 8th.
