WayForward Technologies are currently hard at work developing Mighty Switch Force! HD for Wii U, GoNintendo report.
Such news was confirmed within the latest issue of Nintendo Power, in which the developer stated that they were aiming for the digital download to be ready for the launch of the new console.
Having previously released for Nintendo 3DS, all of the game’s sprites are being redrawn with the Wii U version set to include the free ‘Bonus Incident’ DLC that was made available through a software update.
Entirely new content may also be on the way, although WayForward confirmed that they are already in the planning phases for further Wii U and Nintendo 3DS projects.
