Metro: Last Light live-action teaser released

THQ have shared a teaser trailer for the world premiere of their ‘Enter the Metro’ live-action short, which further expands upon the forthcoming release of Metro: Last Light.

This follows the a teaser website opened last week, that shared a countdown to a world premiere of the live-action short film.

Set in the year 2034 beneath the ruins of a post-apocalyptic Moscow, Metro: Last Light sees the remnants of mankind besieged by deadly threats from both outside and within. Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the surface, whereas poison fills the skies.

Rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for ultimate power – a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is brooding that could wipe humanity from Earth altogether, and the player, in the role of Artyom, hold the key to its survival.

Metro: Last Light will release in Q1 2013, and has been confirmed for Wii U.
