Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a re-interpretation of the PlayStation 2 original, which has sold over 4 million copies to date.
The Nintendo 3DS version will utilise a ‘Photo Camo’ system that will incorporate the built-in camera technology of the hardware to bring customised stealth and camouflage options to the player. You’ll be able to snap a photo in the real world, and then transfer the colour pattern into the game as camouflage to apply to Snake’s uniform.
Additionally, the Nintendo 3DS’ gyro sensor will also be used for tilt mechanics, where players will have to carefully balance Snake as he climbs trees, traverses bridges or overcomes other environmental obstacles.
