Capcom has announced that a Mega Man 11 demo is now available to download on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch – a surprise that presumably would have been shared in the Nintendo Direct that has since been delayed due to the tragic earthquake in Hokkaido.
The Mega Man 11 demo presents you with an early chance to explore Block Man’s stage with Rush by your side, with three different difficulty options available to suit those that are checking out the Blue Bomber’s adventures for the first time as well as 8-bit veterans.
Capcom is challenging those that play the demo to take on The Bust Block Man Challenge, that tasks you with defeating the ego-centric robot and then sharing your victory with the #BustBlockMan hashtag on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.
Every victory will slowly chip away at a statue of Block Man (and the ego he’s built up for himself), and, once it has been entirely chipped away, everyone that plays the demo will receive single-use items that they can redeem in the full game.
Mega Man 11 will release worldwide on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on October 2nd.
