Japanese police have arrested a 25-year old man who had been plaguing Nintendo with death threats, Kotaku reports.
The man, who has admitted to his actions, had used the company’s online inquiry form to make threats to kill two Nintendo executives “sooner or later,” whilst also sharing plans to plant bombs at Nintendo’s headquarters in Kyoto.
“I’d planted bombs at Nintendo headquarters, tomorrow afternoon they’re going to blow up, Nintendo go bankrupt,” his moronic comments read, police having traced his identity through the IP address assigned to the submission.
Police are investigating whether the threats share any connection to similar instances reported in September.
