Ratalaika Games has announced that Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition will release on Nintendo Switch, a 2.5D platformer where players can switch control between two little robots.

Watt and Volt are (you guessed it) twin robots who have been forgotten by time and abandoned in an old robot factory. Marked as defective by mistake, they must pass a series of gruelling tests to prove that they deserve a place in today’s world.

From developer Thinice Games, you can play alone or with a friend in local co-operative multiplayer where each player controls one robot. Then, you will run, jump, and solve puzzles together, but seeing as both robots are battery-powered they will consume energy with each action that they make.

You will need to watch their battery levels to make sure that they can safely reach the exit and charge the last door to open it, but can transfer energy between each other if one robot is running low.

Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
