Nintendo has announced that “a visually enhanced version” of Luigi’s Mansion 2 – or Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon as it is known in the United States – is in development for Nintendo Switch.
Next Level Games was behind the original Nintendo 3DS game, which was the ghost-grabbing sequel to the GameCube classic. You must help Luigi summon the courage to explore super-spooky mansions crammed with stubborn ghosts in an effort to save Evershade Valley.
Armed with his trusty Poltergust, Luigi will come to rely on his special vacuum cleaner to suck up the stubborn ghosts who are craftier than ever. The mansions hide plenty of secrets, and only by gearing up with equipment such as the Strobulb will the poor scaredy-cat be able to succeed in his mission.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2024.
