Toys R Us have begun cancelling Lucario amiibo pre-orders, with the figure being exclusive to the retailer in North America.
In response they have indicated that Nintendo haven’t been able to supply them with enough stock to meet demand, which has caused the sudden cancellations. While trying to dampen disappointment by issuing gift cards for the inconvenience, the retailer has shared that they anticipate another shipment meaning that those that have missed out will have another chance to secure the amiibo.
These shortages are becoming an increasingly repeated occurrence, Nintendo’s production line overwhelmed by the demand behind the company’s new figure range.
