The adventure starts in a remote town, Elgarthe, where a young boy, Kanata, awakens from a devastating dream to discover that his hometown is disappearing.
Facing an ominous power that threatens the fabric of reality he must awaken the power of Memory to restore the ‘LOST,’ and, to prevent the world from disappearing forever, Kanata and his party must rebuild the world around them with the power of Memory – allowing them to manifest thoughts into matter.
Lost Sphear will expand upon features seen in I Am Setsuna, with an enhanced gameplay system, seamless environments and a revamped ATB battle system that will let players strategise and freely adjust their placement mid-fight.
Lost Sphear will be available digitally on the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on January 23rd. There is a physical package available to pre-order from the Square Enix Online Store, with two music tracks as a pre-order bonus at launch.
