With Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy signalling a close an end to the archaeologists adventures and the Inazuma Eleven series continuing to slam balls into the back of the net, LEVEL-5 see 2014 as a year in which they look to “surprise” players.

“In the midst of a rather sluggish consumer game industry at the moment, I believe that the industry needs a new game,” Hino shared with 4Gamer. “We’ll try our best to make a new title that’ll surprise all of you, so please look forward to that.”

As to what their intentions will amount to remains unknown, but we’ve had plenty to enjoy from their output over the years – including Guild01 and Guild02 collections – with WonderFlick set for Wii U this year.
