Creator Alexander Kobbs, a professional animator, previously shot to YouTube fame when he constructed a Wii purely from LEGO bricks, the video having now surpassed 6.5 million views.
With the arrival of the Wii U on the scene, he’s gone about dismantling his previous creation and rebuilding it as Nintendo’s home console. The overly Wii U GamePad explained as being necessary due to his use of an iPad for the built-in screen.
Kobbs’ other gaming-themed projects have ventured into stop animation, including Bricks of War, LEGO Portal 2, LEGO Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and LEGO Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
