LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Promises Blaster Battles And Multi-Builds

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens promises intense Blaster Battles, an enhanced Multi-Builds system, and action-packed dogfights, with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment having shared the first gameplay trailer for the galactic adventure today.

Blaster Battles will see LEGO characters take cover behind nearby objects, a system that appears for the first time in a LEGO game. Characters can then lean out from the safety of cover, to take shots at advancing enemies.

The Multi Builds system isn’t new, but will now allow players to use the same pile of LEGO bricks in different ways. Whereas flight gameplay will see you pilot iconic vehicles such as the Millennium Falcon, gunning your way through arena-based battles and dogfights in space.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will release for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS worldwide on June 28th.
