The LEGO Group has teased that the world of LEGO Super Mario will receive a Mario Kart expansion next year.
The big reveal closed out the surprises that the company had prepared to celebrate MAR10 Day, which will be marked on Sunday 10 March.
In an eight-minute presentation, that saw the team showcase three new LEGO Super Mario sets in The Bowser Express Train (£104.99), King Boo’s Haunted Mansion (£64.99) and the Battle with Roy at Peach’s Castle (£59.99). These will be released around the world on 1 August 2024, with pre-orders now open.
The LEGO Mario Kart expansion was the “very special announcement” that was saved for the end of the presentation, the brief glimpse accompanied by the slogan “Ready, Set, Build!”
