Chase McCain will soon make a welcome return in LEGO Dimensions, but Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed wider plans for the LEGO City Police force’s undeniable star.

It has been announced that the criminally overlooked Wii U exclusive LEGO City Undercover will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam in Spring 2017.

There has been no more information about whether the presumed port will contain any additional content, but, we can at least see that McCain is now dressed in a completely blue uniform in the announcement artwork.

We heaped praise on the game when it saw release as a Wii U exclusive, concluding in our review: “LEGO City Undercover signals a bold new direction for TT Fusion’s creativity.

“It’s the endless wit and charm that makes this Wii U exclusive what it is, and we certainly hope that with such a well-laid foundation in place, Nintendo will seek to invest a few more LEGO Bricks to build upon it in future.”

LEGO City Undercover will release worldwide on Nintendo Switch in Spring 2017.
