Koei Tecmo to support Hyrule Warriors with updates and expansions

Now that Hyrule Warriors has released across Japan, Koei Tecmo have signalled that they will continue to support the Wii U exclusive with “long-term updates and a large-scale mode expansion.”

They’ve already been made aware of bug reports, and so will work on these through the Japanese festival Obon which takes place this weekend.

“New information to commemorate the release. Hyrule Warriors is a ‘festive Zelda title’ that was made with much effort,” the publisher shared on Twitter.

“In order to have you folks enjoy it for longer, we’re currently planning long-term updates and a large-scale mode expansion. We’ve received a few bug reports, so we’ll be working on that as well.

“For these reasons, the development staff will be working in the midst of Obon. Keep it a secret from everyone!”

Hyrule Warriors will release exclusively for Wii U across Europe on September 19th, and North America on September 26th.
