Square Enix and Disney have announced that the Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory demo is now available on Nintendo Switch.

This has looked to provide a taste of what’s to come, presenting the chance for you to battle your way through six tracks alongside Sora, Donald and Goofy.

Disney friends, foes and adventures await you in the upcoming rhythm-action adventure, presenting the chance to journey through worlds packed with challenges to collect and master more than 140 songs from the Kingdom Hearts series.

There are multiple modes such as Memory Drive, which will challenge you to match past scenes from memory, and Boss Battle, where you must defeat fearsome bosses with special attacks.

The game has three different play styles which will let you choose your level of challenge whether you “want to enjoy the songs and adventure without complicated controls, or showcase their skills with complex combos to put on the ultimate performance.”

Once you have cleared stages, you will be rewarded with cinematics and musical scores to relive memorable scenes. And there’s also the chance to experience a chapter of Kingdom Hearts from Kairi’s perspective.

As well as the standard local and online multiplayer battle modes, the Nintendo Switch version will have an exclusive Free-For-All local multiplayer mode for up to eight players.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 13th November 2020.
