The Pokémon Company has announced that Kibo’s Pikachu has been made available as a Mystery Gift in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.

The Mouse Pokémon was seen on board the International Space Station (ISS) in a special livestream, and can join you on your adventures in the Galar region.

KIBO’s Pikachu is Level 21, knows the moves Thunderbolt, Swift, Wish and Celebrate and has with a Comet Shard as a Held Item.

You will need to make sure to receive your KIBO’s Pikachu Gift before it is removed at 11.59pm on Friday 15th January 2021.

To claim a Mystery Gift in-game gift, follow these steps:

  1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
  2. Select Mystery Gift.
  3. Select Get a Mystery Gift.
  4. Select Get via Internet.
  5. Select KIBO’s Pikachu Gift
  6. Remember to Save your game!

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
