Hyrule Warriors day one update to deliver free new content

Nintendo have pledged to support Hyrule Warriors “for the long run” by steadily release new content for the Dynasty Warriors and The Legend of Zelda mashup.

That will kick off to coincide with the Wii U exclusive’s launch, where a downloadable update will introduce a new a retro 8-bit sword and shield for Link, Challenge Mode, and BGM menu where you can listen to the game’s remixed soundtrack. It will also fix a few bugs that Koei Tecmo Games have stumbled on since Hyrule Warriors launched in Japan.

Remember to register the game on Club Nintendo to receive the Ganondorf Demon King Costume Set, while in the US Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy all have pre-order costume sets that will later become available through the Nintendo eShop.

Hyrule Warriors will release exclusively for Wii U across Europe on September 19th, and North America on September 26th.
