Medali’s Gym Test will challenge you to order the special secret menu item at the much-loved and famed Treasure Eatery in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. To succeed, you will need to use four clues to discover the right choices to make when ordering at the restaurant as choosing the wrong combination and you will end up being served what looks like a regular dish.
These clues will point you to locations where you can learn the correct ingredients to use. However, the simplest to find is the dark suit-clad Office Worker who’s sat happily eating his meal inside the Treasure Eatery itself. Ask whether he’s chomping on the secret menu item, and he’ll offer up a tip that “a nice squeeze of Lemon gives any dish a refreshing kick.”
The remaining clues come from three Trainers that you must battle before they’re prepared to divulge their secrets. Their three clues will point you to “a dark spot surrounded by stairs,” “the odd one out at one of the ice cream stands,” and “the blue bird Pokémon.”
The clue related to the ice cream stands will lead you to discover that one has randomly chosen to sell Grilled Rice Balls. Whereas the dark spot is found near the Medali (West) Pokémon Center, and, after interacting with the metal gate, your Trainer will notice some faint writing that says Fire Blast. Lastly, the blue bird Pokémon is a talking Squawkabilly sitting on its owner’s head. Stand there long enough listening to it, and it will eventually squawk “Meedyum! Meedyum!“
With the answers to the clues gathered, you can now return to the Treasure Eatery to place your order for the secret menu item. When speaking to the waiter, you will need to choose the following options:
