Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon will introduce a new Connection Orb, that will allow players to monitor their relationships with the Pokémon that they adventure with.
This will let you quickly see every Pokémon that you have met and, more specifically, the ones that you have built a connection with. Discovering her lost in a scary forest, Sylveon will be the first Pokémon that you become friends with.
Players can see problems that Pokémon they have connected with are worrying about, and, once resolved, they will become your friends – in turn unlocking other Pokémon for you to befriend.
This will let you see your favourite Pokémon in advance, letting you accomplish tasks in your journey toward eventually unlocking them for your party – which includes Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.
The only exception is Hoopa, for which players are required to collect the Warlock’s Pot item that may then be used in a dungeon to summon the Psychic and Ghost-type Legendary Pokémon to help in battle.
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on September 17th, North America later this year and in Europe and Australia in early 2016.
