Numskull Games has teamed up with PM Studios and Aquiris Game Studio to release Horizon Chase Turbo at retail in Europe and Australia.
This physical edition will come with a collectible postcard as a bonus for those that want to add the retro racing hit to their collection.
The heart-pounding arcade-style racer takes inspiration from the greatest hits from the 80s and 90s like Out Run, Top Gear, and the Rush racing series.
With a modern take on old-school 16-bit visuals, it challenges you to master each race circuit – with more than 100 tracks and local multiplayer for up to four players.
In our Horizon Chase Turbo review we recognised that the racer had promise but carried flaws, concluding:
“Where it excels is in ideas and concepts, yet it falters on the basic function of exciting racing. It looks and sounds good but lacks any memorable locations or tracks and it straddles an odd balance between pure arcade racer and pseudo-simulation, with its use of refueling and permanent upgrades.”
Horizon Chase Turbo is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide and will release at retail in Europe and Australia on July 26th.
