PLAYISM and Grayfax Software have announced that Orangeblood will release on Nintendo Switch.

This ’90s hip-hop-inspired JRPG will whisk you to an alternate history of late 20th century Japan.

Criminal syndicates rule the man-made island of New Koza, where Vanilla, a prisoner of a gang war, has been offered her freedom if she completes a top-secret mission.

With the chance to build a crew of “tenacious-yet-cute companions,” you will need to neutralise mobsters, robots, and other threats in battle – looting the best randomly generated guns and armour-boosting kicks to help her succeed.

“I wanted to make an immersive story with g-funk tunes where the only things that matter are your guns, sweet shoes, and the good times you have with them,” explains developer Grayfax Software.

“Randomly generated gear means each encounter can be just as unpredictable as the island of New Koza itself, but the good times will be guaranteed.”

Orangeblood will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Q2 2020.
