Splatoon, Nintendo’s ink-spewing third-person action shooter, became a surprise highlight of the company’s Nintendo Digital Event yesterday.
Players control squid-like characters called Inklings, looking to claim their turf in four-on-four online matches where your objective is to splatter ink on as many surfaces as you possibly can to win.

Splatoon releases exclusively on Wii U in the first half of 2015.
