Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective demo now available

Nintendo of Europe are providing an early opportunity to play through an early section from Capcom’s upcoming Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, through a free-to-play flash demo on their official site for the game.

Within, you’ll be able to witness the title’s central protagonist, Sissel, lying dead in a junkyard; yet his soul still remains! Lost and confused, you must guide Sissel’s soul on his first steps in a tale to uncover the mystery behind his death and to continually discover his lost memories as he seeks to discover who he is.

The short demo introduces the key mechanics of the game, including how Sissel is able to possess and manipulate objects to solve puzzles and change the fate of characters that he will meet. Such an introduction will also teach you of how Sissel may travel between the real world and that of the Ghost world – the latter of which providing the opportunity to talk to the recently deceased, as well as the ability to turn back time by four minutes to alter the fate of certain people.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is due to release exclusively for Nintendo DS across Europe on January 14th.
