During last night’s Nintendo Direct presentation, a new trailer for Augmented Reality adventure title ‘Ghost Camera’ debuted.
Ghost Camera, developed by the makers of Fatal Frame and published by Tecmo Koei, is the first Nintendo 3DS game to make substantial use of the handheld’s AR capabilities. It comes with an “AR Notebook” which must be regularly scanned by the player as your progress through the game, from which ghosts and other mysterious beings will emerge in 3D space thanks to Augmented Reality.
The notebook, known within the story as the “Violet Journal”, is delivered unexpectedly to the player as part of the game’s story, and places you under a curse. To rid yourself from it, you must solve the mysteries that fill its pages.
Ghost Camera is due to release in Japan on January 12th, priced at 3800 Yen.
