Out now on PS4, PC, and mobile, many are wondering when Genshin Impact will release on Nintendo Switch.

The bad news is that when the open-world action RPG’s will arrive on the portable home console remains unclear.

In an interview with RPG Site, miHoYo’s head of communications Sam Lai explained:

“The [Nintendo] Switch version of Genshin Impact is currently under development. More information regarding Switch beta testing and launch dates will be announced at a later time.”

The Unity-powered game is set in a world called Teyvat, in which the Gods grant certain individuals a magical gemstone called a Vision that let their user wield an elemental power.

You play as a male or female Traveler, who sets out in search of their lost sibling. Progression will present the chance for you to play as other characters that you meet on your journey, working together to complete quests in your effort to understand the truth behind the Gods of the world.

Genshin Impact has been confirmed to release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
