Wargaming has announced that their free-to-play team-based mobile MMO World of Tanks Blitz is now available on Nintendo Switch.

With more than 137 million downloads worldwide, fierce team-based mobile tank combat comes to the portable home console with full cross-play support between all platforms.

Those with existing accounts can retain their progress, with cross-play matches taking place on the same server – meaning that new players can team up or compete against existing players in the community.

There’s an in-game avatar exclusive to Nintendo Switch helping you to customise your tank and those that head to the in-game shop before 9th September 2020 can receive a starter pack that contains 1,000 Gold, 3 days of Premium Account, and the T2 Medium, a Tier II American medium tank.

“World of Tanks Blitz is the very first Wargaming title to launch on a Nintendo platform, unveiling its signature tank gameplay to even more gamers around the world,” explains World of Tanks Blitz product director Andrey Ryabovol. “Launching on the Nintendo Switch is a perfect match for us, since the platform’s on-the-go gaming ability and impressive graphic fidelity fit the game’s playstyle and audience.”

World of Tanks Blitz is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
