Square Enix has revealed plans to release a free Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo on Nintendo Switch this month.

This will hit the Nintendo eShop on Thursday 27th June and presents the chance for builders to try out the gameplay while introducing the game’s story and characters.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 will once again combine RPG and crafting gameplay together, challenging players to recover materials to create weapons, buildings, and entire towns.

With help from the mysterious Malroth and other villagers, you will explore large islands, find quests, and battle monsters scattered around the world.

There are rewards that await those that own the original Dragon Quest Builders on the portable home console, too, in that you will have the chance to craft the Legendary Builder’s outfit and the Dragonlord’s Throne.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 12th.
