Free DLC to accompany Etrian Mystery Dungeon’s launch

Etrian Mystery Dungeon‘s nearing launch in North America, with ATLUS today revealing that additional content will be made freely available for the first month.


Five quests – each with their own bonuses – can be downloaded by those that purchase the Nintendo 3DS exclusive for free, up until 5th May 2015 when they will revert to being paid content.

Three of these will require players to find a lost adventurer that will reward you with recipes to unlock meals, whereas the last two are repeatable quests. ATLUS have specified these being as follows:

* Find a Wanderer for me! – Free / $1.99
Find the master chef Wanderer to unlock three new recipes for the Amber Restaurant!

* Find a Princess for me! – Free / $1.99
Find the stray Sovereign to unlock a meal fit for a king in the Amber Restaurant!

* Find a Landsknecht for me! – Free / $1.49
Find the adventurous Landsknecht to unlock three new recipes for the Amber Restaurant!

* Know the Red Pookas? – Free / $1.99
Slay a Red Pooka wandering around the dungeon to receive a Golden or White potion for extra experience!

* Slay the Gold Guardian! – Free / $1.49
Defeat an elusive Gold Guardian in the dungeon to receive a Nugget of Gold fragment for extra gold!

There’ll also be an Etrian Mystery Dungeon theme made available through the Theme Shop from 31st March 2015, priced at $0.99. Which you can see in the video below!

Etrian Mystery Dungeon will launch exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America on April 7th.
