It’s been heavily rumoured, rated in South Korea and uncovered on the Nintendo eShop, but Fortnite Battle Royale is out now on Nintendo Switch.

You can download the game for free on the Nintendo eShop and squad up with your friends in the same room or online around the world.

It is the same globally popular game that players will know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac and mobile, delivering the same gameplay, map, content and weekly updates.

The only difference is that the portable home console now presents you with another option when playing on the go.

Fortnite is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in North America and South America, and will become available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand later today.
