Team17 has announced that Worms W.M.D will see release on Nintendo Switch, meaning that you can soon enjoy all-out tactical worm warfare anytime, anywhere, and with anyone.
That will let you flatten your opponents with the Concrete Donkey, turn them into chunks of worm meat with the Holy Hand Grenade, rain down hell from above in helicopters, or take to the skies with the Super Sheep – with 80 weapons and utilities mixing new additions with the classics.
With 30 campaign levels to work your way through, crafting, vehicles, and buildings have been introduced that can let you cause more chaos and gain a tactical advantage to dominate the battlefield.
The Nintendo Switch version will include all content and updates released so far, such as the Liberation theme, campaign update, and Forts Mode. But, it will also have new content that’s landing on the portable home console first – a new Space theme, new Mushroom and Tree House Forts, and new customisations in three new outfits and three new gravestones.
It will also have support for single Joy-Con play and local wireless multiplayer, as well as hot seat, local, and online multiplayer, too.
Worms W.M.D will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in 2017.
