2K has released the first NBA 2K19 gameplay trailer, presenting a chance for you to see the basketball sim in action.

With the Xbox One logo at the start, we can assume that the gameplay footage in the trailer, which the publisher has called “Take the Crown,” has been captured on a console with a little more oomph than Nintendo Switch.

But, accompanied by music from Jay Rock, we can see cover athletes LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo on the court, with the trailer looking to remind fans that to be the best, you have to take down the king.

The NBA 2K19 Standard Edition (£54.99) will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 11th, with the NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Edition (£84.99) to be available earlier on September 7th.
