Electronic Arts has confirmed that FIFA 21 Legacy Edition is in development for Nintendo Switch.

The Legacy Editions are iterative in that they update the game with the latest kits and squads to reflect the most recent changes in the world of football, but do not add any “new game modes or gameplay innovations.”

For those wanting to know what to expect from this year’s game, Electronic Arts has clarified in the FIFA 21 FAQ:

“The FIFA 21 Legacy Edition on Nintendo Switch features the latest kits and squad updates for the upcoming season, updated presentation (in-game menus and broadcast overlays), but no new game modes or gameplay innovations.”

FIFA 21 Legacy Edition will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 9th October 2020.
