Reddit proved to be a forum of discussion once again, as Fez creator Phil Fish answered questions within an Ask Me Anything thread.
Whilst revealing he was working with Sony to bring his creation to PlayStation Vita, he commented that a Nintendo 3DS version would be “kind of pointless” as the game’s use of perspectives weren’t suited to the handheld.
“We don’t have any plans for that, no. People keep assuming Fez would be a no-brainer on 3DS, but in truth it would be kind of pointless,” Fish remarked. “The game is practically always shown in isometric 3D, there’s never any perspective there. I don’t think it would work.”
