We heard news last week that Limited Edition Pokémon X and Y 3DS XL models were on the way, yet Nintendo left it to our imagination as to what they would look like. Now, we no longer need to guess.

Pokéfans across Japan, for now, can choose between two separate designs: a striking blue model that will be released at retail, and a tarnished gold design that will only be made available at Pokémon Centres.

Each are embossed with detailed artwork that features legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal, alongside starter Pokémon Grass-type Chespin, Fire-type Fennekin, and Water-type Froakie.

Both will have either Pokémon X or Pokémon Y pre-installed on a 4GB SD Card, and will cost 22,800 yen.
