Famitsu’s Fire Emblem Fates review score is in

Japan’s Weekly Famitsu has penned the first review of Fire Emblem Fates, as we now know the tactical strategy-RPG will be named for its western release.

The magazine’s four-strong review team were enamoured by the Nintendo 3DS exclusive, each awarding a 9 to arrive at a mightily strong overall review score with 36 out of 40.

Intelligent Systems’ latest sees players in the lead role as a prince or princess raised by the Nohr royal family, but unaware of your origins from the peace-loving Hoshido.

You will be forced to choose between the two families that you love, either leading you toward a more complex experience on the Nohr path or a more traditional one by siding with the Hoshido.

Fire Emblem Fates will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in 2016.
