Famitsu readers choose their Top 50 Nintendo Games

Japanese gaming magazine recently held an online survey between December 7th – 11th, in which they invited readers to vote upon their all-time favourite Nintendo titles.

The results, which you’ll find below, include a number of welcome surprises. Whilst dominated by both the Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda series, recent Wii JRPG exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles makes a striking achievement in placing sixth overall. Elsewhere sees success for Mother 2, Banjo-Tooie, Ice Climber and F-Zero, although there are also some glaring omissions.

Whilst Super Mario Galaxy appears, it’s superior sequel doesn’t. Similarly Retro Studios acclaimed efforts are absent, with neither the Metroid Prime Trilogy nor Donkey Kong Country Returns making an impact.

  1. Where’s Mario Kart 7?That should definatley be on this list.MK7 is the best one in the series.Love the hang gliders. The kart customization option is mint too.And I love playing as wriggler-there’s a great reference to Mario games where he turns red and gets angry.
