Famitsu award Zelda: Skyward Sword perfect review score

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has awarded The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword with a perfect review score – its first for 2011.

Each of their four reviewers each praised the Wii exclusive release with full marks, amounting to an impressive 40/40.

During its publication lifetime, Famitsu has only awarded sixteen perfect scores. Three of those were awarded to entries within The Legend of Zelda series, including both Ocarina of Time, released for the Nintendo 64 back in November 1998, and The Wind Waker, released for GameCube in December 2002.
