Nintendo has announced that F-ZERO 99 is now available to those with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
This “thrilling take” on the original Super NES racing game delivers a battle royale twist, seeing you line up with 98 other players and race to be the first to cross the finish line.
Challenged to outpace and outlive your opponents in rotating modes, it is important to keep an eye on your power meter as you boost and bash because your speed is just as important. You’re able to defend yourself with a Spin Attack whereas gathering Super Sparks will present the chance for you to breeze past your competition on an elevated Skyway.
The Mini Prix and Grand Prix modes will appear on a set schedule, challenging you to compete and qualify in a series of races, the Team Battle and extra-tough Pro Tracks modes rotate throughout the day and you can race against your ghost in Practice Mode.
