Electronic Arts has confirmed that EA Sports FC 24 will release on Nintendo Switch, with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland revealed to be the game’s cover star.
Promising to deliver an “authentic football experience,” the game will come packed with more than 19,000 fully licensed players, over 700 teams, more than 30 leagues, VOLTA Football, the full Ultimate Team experience and more.
The game will also “bring men and women’s football together to play on the same pitch for the first time,” demonstrating EA Sports’ broader commitment to women’s football.
With some of the world’s best competitions already confirmed – such as LALIGA EA Sports, Bundesliga, Serie A and Conmebol Libertadores – EA Sports has announced an exclusive renewal with UEFA, meaning that it will be the only game in which you can play the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League and UEFA Super Cup.
There is also a long-term renewal with the Premier League – “historically the most popular league in game” – and two additional women’s football leagues in the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga and Liga F will join the Barclays Women’s Super League, the D1 Arkema, the National Women’s Soccer League and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

EA Sports FC 24 will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 2023. 29 September 2023 with early access through the EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Edition from 22 September 2023.
Those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition before 22 August 2023 will receive a number of player benefits, including an untradeable UEFA Champions League Ultimate Team Hero item in November.
